CORNWALL, ON: The Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) is the first site within the Champlain LHIN to move to an integrated surgical eBooking, wait list management and automated provincial wait times reporting system. The browser based Novari Access to Care™ solution was selected to improve patient access to care by providing individual physician offices with a state of the art wait list management and eBooking system.
At the completion of the approximately three month implementation project, CCH will be among a growing number of Canadian hospitals, health authorities and LHINs to have implemented the Novari solution. Novari believes an important element in its selection at CCH was its proven ability to integrate with operating room and enterprise scheduling systems, as CCH information technology’s roadmap includes progress in these areas. The Novari system is the only one of its kind.
The growth of Novari Access to Care installations in three provinces and strong interest from across the country, continues at a brisk pace. The success of the system rests on its ability to provide value to the physician offices in managing their wait lists, paperless eBooking and removing the burden associated with reporting each case to the local provincial wait time registry.
